Xaelor Terms & Community Rules
Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. General Terms
These Terms and Community Rules apply to the Xaelor website, game servers, game accounts, community features and related services.
By creating an account or using Xaelor, you agree to follow these rules and accept responsibility for your account and your actions.
Xaelor is an independent online gaming community operated as a hobby project.
Xaelor is free to play. Players are not required to make a payment in order to access or play the game.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.
Never give your password to another player or anyone claiming to represent Xaelor.
Xaelor staff will never ask you to provide your account password.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact info@xaelormmo.net as soon as possible.
3. Community Rules
Players must treat other members of the community with reasonable respect.
The following behaviour is prohibited:
- serious harassment, threats or targeted abuse;
- racist, hateful or unlawfully discriminatory content;
- intentionally disruptive spam;
- impersonating Game Masters, administrators or Xaelor staff;
- attempting to scam or defraud another player;
- publishing malicious or dangerous links;
- deliberately disrupting community services;
- advertising another private server through Xaelor services without permission; and
- publishing content that is unlawful under applicable law.
4. In-Game Rules
Players must not intentionally cheat or manipulate the game in a way that provides an unfair advantage.
The following are prohibited:
- hacks;
- bots;
- memory injection;
- unauthorised automation;
- packet manipulation;
- exploiting vulnerabilities or serious bugs for personal advantage;
- software specifically designed to manipulate Xaelor gameplay;
- attempts to interfere with the game server or its infrastructure; and
- intentionally helping another player perform any of these activities.
Xaelor may remove items, currency, progress or other benefits obtained through exploitation or cheating.
5. Real-Money Trading
Unless expressly authorised by Xaelor, players must not sell or purchase Xaelor accounts, Crystals, in-game currency, characters or virtual items for real-world money outside official Xaelor systems.
6. Crystals and the In-Game Shop
Xaelor includes an optional in-game shop.
Crystals can also be obtained through normal gameplay, including through monsters, bosses, rewards and other in-game activities.
Making a payment is not required to access or play Xaelor.
Where an optional payment for Crystals is available, the amount of Crystals and the corresponding payment amount will be displayed before the transaction is completed.
Crystals and other Xaelor virtual content exist only within the game service. They cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for real-world cash.
Detailed payment and refund rules are provided separately in the Xaelor Refund Policy.
7. Payments and Refunds
Payment problems and refund requests should be sent to contact@xaelormmo.com.
Refunds may be provided in appropriate circumstances, including duplicate payments, delivery errors, technical problems, accidental transactions or other situations covered by the Xaelor Refund Policy.
Where Crystals or virtual content have already been used, consumed or transferred, refund eligibility may be limited, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Opening a legitimate payment dispute does not automatically result in an account ban.
Fraudulent transactions, deliberately abusive chargebacks or other payment abuse may result in temporary or permanent account restrictions.
8. Game Changes and Balancing
Xaelor is an evolving game service.
Game systems, monsters, bosses, drop rates, items, Crystals, rewards, character balance, events and other gameplay features may be modified where necessary for balancing, development or maintenance.
9. Server Availability
Xaelor does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The website, game servers or other services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, hosting or network problems, security incidents, attacks against the infrastructure, emergency repairs or circumstances outside Xaelor's reasonable control.
10. Enforcement
Rule violations may be investigated by Xaelor.
Depending on the circumstances and seriousness of the violation, actions may include warnings, chat restrictions, removal of improperly obtained items or currency, correction of game progress, temporary restriction, temporary suspension or permanent suspension for serious or repeated violations.
11. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
A player experiencing a payment problem is encouraged to contact contact@xaelormmo.com before opening a payment dispute.
Opening a legitimate payment dispute does not automatically result in a permanent ban.
Xaelor may temporarily restrict an account while a disputed transaction is investigated.
If a payment is reversed after the related Crystals or virtual benefits have already been used, Xaelor may remove the corresponding virtual benefits where technically possible.
Fraudulent or deliberately abusive payment activity may result in account suspension.
12. Virtual Content
Game accounts, characters, Crystals, items, mounts, costumes, consumables and other virtual content exist as part of the Xaelor game service.
Virtual content does not represent money, a bank balance, stored monetary value or a financial asset and may not be converted into real-world money through Xaelor.
13. Privacy and Account Data
Details concerning account information, email addresses, technical information, payment providers and user privacy are described in the Xaelor Privacy Policy.
14. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Rights
Xaelor does not claim ownership of trademarks, game software, artwork or other intellectual property belonging to third parties.
All third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Xaelor is an independent project and should not be understood as an official service of, or endorsed by, the original publishers or owners of third-party games unless expressly stated otherwise.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Xaelor is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, third-party network failures, hosting failures or a user's own failure to protect their account.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
16. Service Changes or Closure
Xaelor may modify, suspend or discontinue features or services where reasonably necessary for technical, security, operational or project-related reasons.
17. Applicable Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where mandatory consumer protection or other laws applicable to a user cannot legally be excluded, those rights remain unaffected.
18. Changes to These Terms
Xaelor may update these Terms and Community Rules when reasonably necessary.
